The episode for Thursday, August 21 is going to see some damage control and sharing life updates.
What could go wrong?
Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) made some big moves over the last week by divorcing Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson).
But she hasn’t shared the news with her children yet, and it looks like Kat Richardson Colby Muhammad) is up first.
This will be a fun conversation. We can see Kat reacting several ways and it’ll prove interesting.
Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) will call Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) about stopping Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) from collecting from the trust.
Unfortunately for Vernon, Bill is done being his weapon and will have his own demands in return.
We think he’s going to want to be cut free entirely, but will Vernon give up his consigliere?
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, August 21: Kat’s gonna implode
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are looking forward to this scene to see how Kat will react. She’s one of our favorites and she has some of the best reactions and one liners.
In this case, she’s going to get some serious news when Nicole tells her that she’s divorcing her father.
This could go several different ways depending on Kat’s mood, but we think she’ll be shook. Despite her hostility, we think she hoped her parents would get back together.
But she’ll also know it was a possibility and will accept it and support her mom. She’ll break down later with Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria).
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, August 21: Bill stands up
It looks like Vernon will take steps to cut Leslie off from the trust. Leslie brought it on herself, but if this is what he’s doing, it’ll show how little his and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie)’s words mean.
So he’ll contact Bill about finding out the truth and try to stop Leslie from cashing in. For his part, Bill will be done being at Vernon’s beck and call.
We think he’ll tell Vernon this is either the last time or he’ll outright refuse. He tried to before, but Vernon browbeat him into submission.
This time, things could be far different and Bill will take his chances.
