‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to get into a new week and take our first stroll through Fairmont Crest.
The episode for Monday, August 18 looks like it’s going to be a fun one as we’re going to get some fun interactions.
Thanks to Peaches (Arle Michel), Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) knows her real mother was the fourth member of the Articulettes: Barbara Mitchell (Sherita Bolden voice only).
While we fully expect she’ll want to make a big scene for Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie)’s benefit when she gives her the news. But mostly, we think this scene will be Leslie coming to terms with everything.
Her life has changed in a huge way, and that includes the fund Anita set up for Barabara’s family. Leslie just has to prove it, and Anita will fight her every step of the way.
Just when we don’t think Doug McBride (Jason Graham) can make any more big mistakes, he hands off his drink.
In this case, it looks like he’s going to share some info with Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges).
Doug won’t want to implicate his wife, so we expect this will come from Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) and will hurt Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love Leslie. She’s so dramatic and makes every scene fun! But she also has a dark side.
This will be an interesting crossroads for her. We got to see another side of her we haven’t before when she opened up to Peaches.
But after becoming the local pariah, due to her own actions, we think she’ll want to flaunt the news in Anita’s face.
Anita won’t like that, or the fact she’s handing over so much money to Leslie. We’re curious if she’ll actually try to start fresh or is that for those Anita previously cared about?
Leslie definitely burned her bridges, but there’s always the chance to grow and change.

Whelp, it looks like we may be inching closer to saying goodbye to Doug. We doubt he’ll be killed off, but it’s a definite possibility give the show is still in its first year.
They could want to ruffle some feathers and make headlines, and killing off a regular would do that.
The fact that Doug knows how dangerous Joey is and will still give Jacob information on him isn’t good.
It shows how he’s not thinking clearly and wants revenge for his wife bailing him out. His ego will get him killed at some point.
