Days of Our Live spoilers for Friday, August 1: Problem…
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Cat and Chad are surprised when they get stuck together. Of course, we know from the Thursday, July 31 episode they got stuck in an elevator while leaving University Hospital. We personally think the biggest surprise in this whole thing is the fact there isn’t a pregnant woman in the elevator with them. That seems to be a favorite setup in TV.
In any case, we’re guessing at least one of them is going to have a problem with being trapped in the confined space. And our money would be on Cat being the one with the problem. She’s definitely got that high-strung energy that makes us understand why her time at the ISA was as an analyst. She probably wouldn’t make it in the field.
Days of Our Live spoilers for Friday, August 1: More cuts?
Elsewhere, EJ sets tongues wagging when he mentions a few things coming down the pike. So, we already know that Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) has not been a fan of EJ’s leadership. Or his budget. So, we assume these things coming down the pike are more cuts to the hospital’s expenses. Either that, or more changes to improve efficiency that Kayla and others won’t like. Actually, as soon as Chad and Cat got stuck in that elevator, we wondered if that was another one of EJ’s cost-saving measures. You know, neglecting the maintenance and/or inspections.

In other Days of Our Lives spoilers, Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) is questioned by Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). We assume this is going to relate to the Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) case in some way. Either she might want to hear a bit more about what Rachel saw/heard, or Rachel will have another nightmare about it that Marlena will try to help her through. We can’t help feeling this might lead to some… interesting developments. There was a promo out there where Belle Black (Martha Madison) asked if Marlena knows who the shooter is.
Days of Our Live spoilers for Friday, August 1: Ex problems
Finally, some ex drama might be ahead. See, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) share dinner together, which we saw a clip of in the summer promo. And since, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) were also in that clip, we assume this will happen tomorrow. Another teaser for the day says the bond between Brady and Sarah strengthens.
