Prince Harry recently walked across the same landmines his mother, Princess Diana, walked across years ago. He claims to want to “continue her legacy.”
Insiders Claim Prince Harry Is Desperate To Return To The Royal Fold
The landmine site is dedicated to the Duke of Sussex’s charity, the Halo Trust. Is his aim really to continue Diana’s work, or is it to improve his negative public image? The true goal is likely a mix of both.
Interestingly, he traveled to the African state without his wife, Meghan Markle. He decided it was “too dangerous for her to join him.”
However, the Sussexes had seemingly no issue with traveling to far more dangerous places, such as Nigeria and Colombia.
The pictures from the trip are undoubtedly a carefully planned strategy to remind the world that he’s Diana’s son and that he’s as generous and compassionate as she was.
Insiders suggest that Harry is desperate to come back to the royal fold. It looks like the peace summit may have been a bid for him to return someday.
However, King Charles is still undergoing treatment for cancer, and no one knows how much time he has left.
The King wants to reconcile with his younger son. He also wants to have a relationship with his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.
That said, when Prince William becomes King, he’ll likely strip Harry and Meghan of their titles and be done with it. He hasn’t spoken to Harry in over two years.
William knows to put the crown above everything. However, Charles is viewing this from an emotional perspective. William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, are the future of the monarchy.
Harry Wanted To Recreate Princess Diana’s Iconic Images From 1997
The peace summit may have even been a feeble attempt to drive a wedge between Charles and the Prince and Princess of Wales. The meeting was likely leaked because of Meghan’s big mouth.
According to sources in Angola,
“Harry didn’t want Meghan there.” The Halo charity is “his thing,” and “he wants to keep it that way.”
The source added that Harry appears to be slowly realizing that if he wants to reconcile with the royal family, “he must be willing to stand alone.”
Yet, we have seen no apology from Harry, who has gone scorched earth on his family for years since the Megxit announcement. Harry believed he and Meghan could form their own separate royal family in the US.
Harry also mistakenly thought that Meghan would be the next Princess Diana. However, the world sees through Meghan’s self-serving façade.
Meghan only cares about Meghan and getting publicity. The Sussex PR machine has overshadowed Harry’s charity work, making the two of them look foolish.
Harry wisely banned the British media from attending his walk across the landmines. Harry has been a patron of Halo since 2019.
He had hoped to recreate the iconic images of Princess Diana from 1997. She was photographed on her final trip months before she died.
She wore protective equipment and walked through an active minefield during a short period of peace in Angola’s war.
Seven months later, Diana tragically died in a car crash in Paris. Her photos went down in history. We highly doubt that Harry is capable of “recreating them.”
