‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for another jaunt through Fairmont Crest and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
Things have been turned upside down for the Duprees, but especially Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon), and the episode on Wednesday, July 16 is going to be a fun one.
There are so many things to unpack after Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) killed Kenny (Jason Vendryes). The biggest is Martin coming to terms with what happened.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers: Martin Finally Reveals What Happened Two Years Ago; Vernon and Bill Clash Over Who’s in Charge
So far, his family has cried that it was a hate crime against him, but if it was coming out about it wouldn’t have been a bad thing.
Especially if he fought them off. Which makes us wonder if that claim is Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davies)’s spin or if it was legit.
Martin will finally come clean, and we suspect that will be to Smitty Smith (Mike Manning). About time.
While he’s doing that, Vernon will confront Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) about who is really in charge of the family.
Vernon won’t like Kenny being killed, but then he’s always left the dirty work to Bill and others to keep his hands clean.
This should be an entertaining back and forth.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers have been waiting to hear what happened to Martin, and he’ll finally open up.
We think he’ll tell Smitty about it. He’ll be looking for comfort after what happened, but also to try to right the wrongs he created.
We don’t think it’ll help, but at least we’ll find out now.
Our guess is he broke down or had a flat tire, was approached by a couple of guys looking to rough him up, and he fought back.
In fact, since Kenny mentioned his brother couldn’t be there, we have a feeling the original payout was used to cover his medical costs.
That would explain Kenny coming back. Maybe his brother even died from his injuries.
But that’s where everyone stepped in to bury the night’s actions and eventually eliminate Kenny.

Vernon won’t like how things ended. It’s that simple, and he’ll confront Bill about who is really in charge.
Since Bill has been cleaning up Vernon and the Dupree’s messes throughout his career, we think he got tired of being summoned back.
This way, it’s all over. Though Malone being an idiot and texting the pic could come back to bite them.
Bill’s made Vernon face his transgressions recently, and Vernon hasn’t been able to hide behind his perceived piousness.
