General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 9 reveal Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) tries again. Elsewhere, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) makes a choice. Plus, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) has a tough job to do. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Try, try again
First, General Hospital spoilers indicate Ric issues an invitation to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). He’ll want to know if she’s busy that night. Might this be a second attempt to get her to the concert, or does he have something else in mind? We’ll see. Either way, we’re sure this latest effort is at least partly because of the scene with Ava Jerome (Maura West) last time. We wouldn’t put it past Ric to take Liz out and maybe make a scene of it to get back at Ava for her accusations.
General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Making a choice
Elsewhere, Jordan has made a decision after her talk with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). She knows the feelings are too strong and they’re not appropriate. To that end, she’ll tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) she needs to do the right thing and remove herself from his life. While it’s probably a good idea, we don’t see this helping as much. This will probably give Curtis more reason to doubt continuing his marriage to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Yes, she does technically have the right to object to a friendship that is clearly not just friendship with at least one party. Still, she caused the rift between them. And given the scene Portia staged, he’ll see this as Portia’s doing and another line crossed.
General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Walking a line
In other General Hospital spoilers, Michael offers reassurance. We all know there was concern for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) after the Daisy situation last time. So, Michael is probably going to bring up the thought of her seeing someone and Sasha won’t take it well. In the promo, she asks someone, “You think I’m crazy, don’t you?” Considering what she went though courtesy of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), we can see why she’s extra sensitive to the suggestion. We’re sure Michael will find a way to reframe things to help Sasha take the concerns differently. While we like the family is worried about her and supporting her, we can’t with the idea Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is the one orchestrating all these weird happenings to cause the concern.
