Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 9 reveal Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) is about to get a surprise. Meanwhile, Belle Black (Martha Madison) worries. Plus, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) has a lot to tell. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Turn around
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal an about-face. See, in the weekly preview, we see Ari and Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) are about to kiss. However, Ari is surprised when Doug tries to push her out of his life. So, something must make this romantic moment go horribly wrong. We assume he’ll either snap back to reality when he remembers the threats he got, or his debtor will send another threatening text at the wrong moment that makes Doug III fear for her safety. He did already cut off Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) as a tutor for the same reason.
This will hurt Ari and reinforce the doubts she had when talking to her family about him. We, after all, expect Doug III to do what he needs to do in the meanest way to make it stick. And Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) acts like he’s evil…
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Worries
Elsewhere, Belle worries about how Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is coping since losing John Black (Drake Hogestyn). She has definitely not been herself. Plus, both the weekly and summer preview shows Marlena having moments of physical weakness. So, it’s not a stretch to think her grief and stress over it and the other things going on is affecting her physically.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Story time
In other Days of Our Lives spoilers, it’s story time! Leo talks to Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) about his questionable past. Obviously, his argument with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) starts this conversation. He’ll want to know why Gwen behaved the way he did, so Leo is going to have to share the all the gory details of his betrayal. Not to mention explaining why he goes by a different name…

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Reunited
Finally, Gwen and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) get together. Based on the clip in the promo, we think it’s obvious what this reunion could lead to. It’s not a crazy idea, especially in a soap, for people to go back to an ex when in pain. And they both have wounds they’re looking to deal with. We wonder if this will lead to Gwen sticking around a bit. And maybe a little scheming between the two.
