‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Xander Switched Sarah’s Deceased Daughter With Rachel
Right now, it appears that Sarah’s marriage to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is on the rocks. Sarah hasn’t had strong feelings for anyone the way she has for Xander. However, finally seeing Xander’s true colors may make her think twice before she gives him another shot.
It wouldn’t be the first time Xander and Sarah had a falling out. They clearly love each other, but Xander never seems to learn from his mistakes.
Xander has made some misguided decisions due to his love for Sarah. The night Sarah gave birth, Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) also gave birth to her own baby. There was chaos that night, which led to the events unfolding as they did.
Sadly, Sarah’s daughter, Mickey, ended up passing away, and Xander thought it would be a good idea to switch the deceased child with Kristen’s baby. Kristen was told her baby had died until the truth was eventually revealed.
We took notice that Rachel seemed comfortable bonding with Sarah at the hospital. Sarah raised Rachel for the first year of her life. Rachel had cancer when she was a baby, and Sarah was the one who took her for treatment.
Rachel and Sarah have a deep connection due to their shared history. The little girl isn’t aware of the role Sarah played in her life, but she may one day soon find out.
During the Friday, June 20th episode of Days, Brady told Sarah if she ever needed to talk, he would be there to listen. We couldn’t help but wonder how Rachel would feel if anything romantic were to happen between Brady and Sarah.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rachel Drove Away Most Of Brady’s Girlfriends
Sarah is one of the few people Rachel feels safe with, other than her mom, Kristen. Despite Rachel having driven away almost all of Brady’s girlfriends, we don’t think she would object should Brady and Sarah ever become involved.
Rachel is very much like Kristen. She’s not exactly shy when she doesn’t want someone around. She basically broke up Brady’s relationship with Chloe Lane (Nadja Borlin).
Rachel also intimidated the typically formidable Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) until the former mafia princess left Salem for good.
The unspoken bond between Sarah and Rachel comes across as Alice Halsey, who plays Rachel, and Linsey Godfrey, who plays Sarah, seem to have a kinship that plays beautifully onscreen. The chemistry between them is palpable as Rachel seems to trust Sarah.
Linsey Godfrey recently dished to Soap Opera Digest on working with Alice Halsey.
“Alice is such an amazing little actor, and she’s so smart,”
Godfrey gushed.
“Getting to hang out with her is awesome as well.”
We feel that it’s only a matter of time before the subject of Sarah and Rachel’s past connection comes up. Rachel should learn the truth about her history with Sarah.
If Brady and Sarah become closer, little Rachel may finally approve of someone her father is dating, which would drive Kristen bonkers.
