‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord) may have a connection.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Cat Commented That Sami Looked Familiar To Her
Fans are speculating over a scene in the June 5th episode of Days where Cat went to Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) townhouse to express her condolences about John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) passing.
After Cat delivered her fruit tarts, she spied a framed family photo on the mantle and had an interesting reaction to the image of Sami.
Once Cat saw Sami’s face, she commented to Tate Black (Leo Howard) that the woman looked really familiar to her.
Tate explained to Cat that she was his aunt Sami, but Cat didn’t confirm whether she had a prior relationship with her.
However, her response to the picture suggests that she and Sami may share a past connection. There was even some mysterious music playing in the background.
The melody accompanied Cat’s strange reaction to Sami’s picture, which on the soaps usually implies there is more to the story.
Cat’s flash of recognition demonstrates that if there is some connection, at the very least, Sami and Cat once crossed paths.
Cat also saw a photo of John and acknowledged his heroic efforts. She told Tate that John had helped her mother and grandmother escape an abusive situation, and she owed him her life. John’s death seemed to hit her hard due to her past experience with him.
Viewers know that Clyde Weston (James Read) held Cat’s mother, Catharina Meleounis Greene (Susan Elena Matus), captive, and Cat and her mother had been in a car accident in which everyone believed they had perished.

We suspect something specific happened with Sami that Cat can’t quite recall. Maybe Sami played a role in the accident, or perhaps she helped her in some way.
The late John Black’s connection to Cat’s mom was cleared up when we learned that she was the woman John thought he had killed in Greece.
Thankfully, it was later revealed he hadn’t killed her after all. None of that tells us why Sami seems familiar to Cat, but it’s a possible starting point.
It would be absurd for Days to have Cat clearly affected by the image of Sami and then not follow up with an explanation. We have to wonder if she did meet Sami somehow, whether her experience with Marlena’s daughter was positive or negative.
Cat may happen upon Sami at John’s funeral and could immediately remember how she knows John’s stepdaughter.
Rumors are also swirling that Cat, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will end up in a love triangle sometime after his break-up with Belle Black (Martha Madison), which ultimately means Cat may encounter “Hurricane Sami” at some point.
It would be nice to see these two women share a close friendship, but if Cat really does hook up with EJ, she may find herself on the receiving end of Sami’s wrath, and as fans already know, that is not a good place for someone to be.
