‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers confirm that Casey Moss, who plays JJ Deveraux, married his longtime love and former co-star, True O’Brien, who played Paige Larson on the soap.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Moss And O’Brien Dated For Eight Years Before He Popped The Question
They met on the set of Days in 2014 when their characters were dating. JJ and Paige were an item, but JJ slept with her mother, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva), and then Paige was tragically killed by the necktie slayer, aka Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), in 2015.
Their portrayers, Moss and O’Brien, continued dating after True was written off the show. They dated for eight years until Casey popped the question in June 2022 while they were on a hiking trip in Malibu, California. The actor disclosed a sweet video of the instant he proposed on Instagram.
The scene that was set was very romantic and memorable as they were on a cliff overlooking the clear, blue Pacific Ocean.
The couple were married on the beach on Sunday, May 25th, in a beautiful ceremony that included their closest family and friends.
O’Brien looked stunning as she wore an elegant strapless wedding dress featuring a lace corset bodice. Moss looked dapper in his tuxedo.
He posted a series of serene images from their spectacular day. Moss and O’Brien were photographed with a backdrop of dozens of birds flying away.
There was also a picture of them holding hands and kissing at the altar. Another displayed them walking on the beach together.
Then, he showed a snap of the duo kissing near the dunes with the sloping mountains behind them. Moss shared these pics on his Instagram carousel. O’Brien gushed over her big day on Instagram, referring to the day as being “magical.”

The couple mulled over the idea of having a destination wedding in Hawaii while they were visiting Brien’s brother, who is an ordained minister.
“I had no idea he was officially licensed until we were out there,” Moss said of his sibling. “He was like, ‘I’ll absolutely marry you guys.’ We almost got married right then and there, but then we thought about family and everything.”
Ultimately, they made the wise decision to get married closer to home. It’s only natural that they wanted their wedding to be perfect, and how can you have the ideal wedding unless your loved ones are there to take part in the ceremony?
And let’s not forget the traditional feeding of the cake and the presents. It’s much more special when the family is there to applaud the happy couple and toss rice at them.
It’s good to know that Moss has his soulmate to share his life with. Unfortunately, his character on Days isn’t so lucky in love.
JJ was in a relationship with the fiery Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). After the EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) shooting, JJ questioned Gabi to find out if she was the one who pulled the trigger.
Gabi didn’t take so kindly to his interrogation, and she furiously called it quits. Hopefully, JJ will eventually get a happy ending, just like his portrayer.
