CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal something odd is going on in Genoa City! Or is it in Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) simply seeing things? It will be an interesting topic to explore for ‘The Young and the Restless’ fans. We got quite a surprise yesterday after a short commercial break. The ad before the end of the break happened to be another CBS show, ‘Evil’ that airs on Thursday nights. Ok, but why is that important? Well, as it happens, Nick is seeing demons!

Nick has been going through some stress lately, especially after hearing about his ex-wife Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) breast cancer. We see him walking into The Grand Phoenix Hotel, owned by Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). He looks rather out of place and asks the bartender for a strong drink. The bartender we haven’t seen yet. This is where things took a major shift! Everyone was in shock as we saw a demonic-looking being pour Nick a glass.

Many felt that there was an error, or that something had gotten overlapped by accident. The unlikely bartender who served Nick a drink is George from ‘Evil’. This is quite an odd thing for ‘Young and the Restless’ as rarely have they ever dealt with the supernatural. While it’s unclear whether this was simply some in-show advertisement for the show ‘Evil’ or part of something bigger you can rest assured it wasn’t just you.

Is Nick seeing demons, or was this just a way for CBS to push their other show? If it does become part of ‘The Young and the Restless’ it would pave the way for an extremely interesting storyline! Adding in a dash of supernatural may boost the show a little or attract new viewers. It could certainly fit into Nick’s current situation and could be interesting “crossover” to ‘Evil’. We will just have to wait to see what happens and if this was a one-time occurrence.
