    Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of Monday, May 19 to Friday, May 23 reveal Kate DIMera (Lauren Koslow) makes a discovery. Plus, returns are in store. We’ll also see Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall) get tragic news. Here’s what you need to know.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of Monday, May 19 to Friday, May 23: Discovery

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) is found by his mother. We all know what this one’s about! Last time we saw Xander cook (Paul Telfer), he was a man on a mission to destroy Philip. That ill-advised plan was Xander’s breaking point, and we’ll see more of the beatdown that started on Friday, May 16. Xander will swear there is nothing that is going to save Philip, but we guess that won’t be the case. Kate will obviously call for help, and that is where things will get interesting for Xander. More on that in the daily for Monday, May 19.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of Monday, May 19 to Friday, May 23: They’re back

    Elsewhere, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal we’ll see a return the week of Monday, May 19 to Friday, May 23. That would be Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonson), who’ll be at Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) side as his condition worsens. In fact, the promo talks about giving Bo his last rites. This will lead to flashbacks of the pair over the years.

    That’s not the only return ahead. We’ll also see Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) back on the scene. She’ll be there to lend her mother support through this whole situation. Of course, since we saw Hope going on about Bo in the 60th preview, it’s safe to say Bo will beat the odds, whether that drug he needs gets to him or not.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of Monday, May 19 to Friday, May 23: Tragic ending

    Finally, tragedy is ahead. We know this has been coming, as the writers decided to kill off John Black in the wake of Drake Hogestyn’s health. The plan was to write him back in if and when Hogestyn was able to return. However, that will sadly not be the case.

    That means this week we really do say goodbye to John. Despite the call Marlena got, it seems John was not out of danger just yet. We’re not sure what leads to this, but it seems John will be involved in a lab explosion that will leave him badly injured. Marlena will get the news from Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), which we assume was what Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) tuned into when Marlena was celebrating John’s upcoming return.
