General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 12 Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has made a decision about the future. Meanwhile, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) has bad news ahead. Plus, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has questions. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 12: Exit plan
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny has some explaining to do. Obviously, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) isn’t thrilled with the idea of Sonny selling the piers to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). But Sonny will defend the decision, saying he won’t pass this up for his family’s sake. We really think that exclusion from a family event for Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) sake got to him. Plus, what he overheard Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) saying beforehand. He’s definitely feeling the pressure after all these years and he and Jason already have discussed leaving the business. We assume Sonny will see this as his best option to do so. Even if it means selling to someone he clearly doesn’t like or trust much.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 12: Suspicions
Elsewhere, Curtis is suspicious. Portia Robison (Brook Kerr) knew this was going to happen, and it has. He’ll demand to know why she is defending Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). She’ll confess that she has to. Will she tell him exactly what she did? We’ll see. We honestly think it wouldn’t be any worse for her if she did. With her duty putting her at odds with Curtis now, she’ll possibly think she has nothing to lose by confessing. Of course,, she has no idea what else Drew knows about her that he hasn’t mentioned yet.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 12: Disappointment
In other General Hospital spoilers, Emma gets bad news. Since there is a scene in the promo where Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) tells Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) there is one condition, we assume Joss got the job. Emma won’t take this well, obviously. In the promo, she believes something is wrong.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 12: Update
Finally, Jordan updates Laura. We assume they’ll be meeting in secret, and this trouble Jordan speaks of is bad news for her political future. If we remember right, certain people are pushing for Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) to replace her. And while Sidwell sold the idea of buying the piers as taking Sonny (and Laura’s connection to him) out of the voters’ consideration, that might not be enough.
