Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 9 reveal Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) sees an opportunity. Meanwhile, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is in crisis. Plus, no one in town will see this one coming. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 9: Money maker?
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Alex thinks Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) book is a potential hit and wants Titan to publish it. We expect her to be a bit resistant to the idea, even if Alex is eventually able to talk her into it. As an author, this writer thinks Alex committed a major no-no when he took that manuscript and read it. Many authors are protective of their work and don’t want to show it until it’s completed/they’re pleased with how it turned out. So, we’ll see if Stephanie takes any offense to it.
But we definitely expect Alex to get what he wants in the end and we’re curious to see how they go about this. We imagine with the reception Body and Soul got that we might not see any of her work play out of screen, but we’d love to see it! And we find it interesting the book as the same name as the DOOL special from the ‘90s. We never got to see that, but we wonder if they will incorporate bits of that into the plot.

Elsewhere, Sarah has a medical crisis. Are we about to have more tainted goods in Salem? She mentions that what she is eating tastes different before going into a coughing fit and looking in bad shape. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is obviously alarmed and yells for help. Could this be a chance food poisoning thing, or has Xander (or Sarah) made an enemy and the food was tainted on purpose? We’ll see.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 9: Saved?
Finally, some in town might not like this. It seems EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is Salem University Hospital’s new benefactor. Interestingly enough, he announces his generosity to Dr. Jeffrey Russell (Michael Dietz), who just happens to be developing a drug that is causing a stir at the hospital. Is EJ just being a decent guy here, or does he have darker motivations? We’ll see.
