The episode for Thursday, May 1 looks like it’s going to be fun one as there’s going to be some characters in uncomfortable situations.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will find himself on the receiving end of Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman)’s ultimatum.

It won’t be exact per se, but she’s going to ask if sucking up to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is more important than his friends.
Looks like Michael’s daddy issues will be front and center in the coming days.
Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will find herself caught between a rock and a hard place.
Both of her designers are leaving. On top of that, both Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) thought the other would take over.
There’s a lot of things in flex happening, and it’s going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, May 1: Michael wants to be peacekeeper
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have no doubt Michael believes he’s playing peacekeeper. He’s willing to risk Victor’s revenge for betraying him to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
The problem is, when Victor finds out and banishes him, Michael crawls back. He wants and needs Victor’s friendship.
So when Lauren and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) point out he seems to care more about Victor than his actual friends, things will get interesting.
With a possible ultimatum to choose looming over his head, Michael will probably choose Victor. Well, he’ll say he’ll choose to be peacekeeper, but he’s really trying to protect Victor.
Everyone feels Victor needs to learn a lesson, but Michael can’t bring himself to let it happen.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, May 1: Summer’s at a loss
Well, it looks like Summer will be caught flatfooted and struggle to catch up. Both her designers will tell her they have other job offers, and each through the other would take over.
This will be an interesting angle as Sally and Chelsea won’t want to leave the other or Summer in a lurch. They’ll have to figure out how to handle this.
Things like who leaves first, will they wait for their replacements and leave together, and so on.
Summer’s stress levels are going to skyrocket, especially if she learns Sally will be taking her mom’s place wiwth Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
