It’s going to be a fun conversation with Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) and Kat getting closer.
Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) will question Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) about her current crush.
To Nicole and possibly even Vanessa’s surprise, Vanessa will admit she has feelings for Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are looking forward to this scene. Chelsea and Kat are great together, and it’s going to be fun hearing them talk about when is the right time.
It’s cool that Kat wants to make sure her first time is with the right person. Since it’s Kat’s birthday party, they’re going to talk in code, so lots of baking metaphors on the way.
Cheslea will wonder if Kat needs to love the cake to eat it, and Kat will clarify that she just needs to trust it.
It’s perfect timing since Tomas will arrive, and there’s a good chance they could close the night out together.

Well, it looks like Joey’s plan, whatever it is, is working as he’s romancing Vanessa out of her shoes.
There’s been hints at that, but Nicole knows her better than most, so she’ll ask her if she has feeling for Joey.
Vanessa will be unsure at first, but then she’ll realize she does. We’re sure this will get her a knowing and/or dirty look from Nicole.
There’s probably a lecture coming about Joey’s history, and Vanessa will side with what Joey’s told her.
How much truth there is in it she’ll have to research, but we expect she’s really smitten.
As for what Joey’s planning, we wonder if it’s just a power grab because he can. We’re sure it’s something more, but we’ll have to wait and see.
