The episode for Thursday, April 3 looks like it’s going to be a fun one. We’re going to get some good friend moments and possible underhanded ploys.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers Thursday, April 3: Randy Tries to Help Doug; Bill Suffers a Heart Attack when Naomi Goes After Him
Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) is going to continue trying to help Doug McBride (Jason Graham) whether he wants him to or not. So to that end, we expect he’ll ask him about his wife and how his gambling affects her.
He’s trying to coax Doug out of gambling his way into debt, but we doubt he’ll succeed.
There won’t be much coxing when Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne ( ) pay Bill Hamilton ( ) a visit.
We expect she’ll be extra fired up with everyone telling her to back off. She doesn’t understand the danger Bill is, but she may get a glimpse.
He’s going to have a medical emergency. Whether it’s contrived to avoid the lawsuit or real will be interesting to see.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, April 3: Always a friend
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how we get to see so many sides to the different characters. Without the long history to view, we’re left trying to figure out who did what and how bad.
It makes it fun, and then we get a friendship like Randy has with Doug.
Sure, Randy ends up doing what Joey wants him to, but he still tries to get Joey to take it easy. He also tries to convince Doug it’s time to walk away.
We think we’ll see some of the latter in this scene as Randy will use Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) as leverage for Doug to wake up.
We doubt it’ll work, but anything’s possible.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, April 3: Bill suffers a heart attack
Okay, there’s no question that Bill plays as dirty as possible to win. He’s shown that time and again with Naomi and he’s been taking it easy on her.
He’s been trying to avoid the lawsuit because she is a danger, but he also doesn’t want to resort to what he’d normally do. She’s his daughter and he loves her.
So while Naomi is ripping into him, he’s going to suffer a heart attack or some other medical emergency.
She’ll call 9-1-1 and things will be forgotten. But what if he’s playing her? This could be an elaborate plan of his to get her to see she loves him and drop the lawsuit.
It’s evil manipulation in many ways, but is it really worse than what he’d do if they go to trial?
