‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Louis Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will try to cover her tracks when Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) decide to search for her long-lost child.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lois Kept The Truth Hidden Since Brook Lynn Was A Teenager
Lois has kept the truth about Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) child a secret since Brook Lynn was a teenager.
She’ll freak out when she discovers that the young couple, who desperately want to have a baby of their own, act on their impulse to locate Brook Lynn’s grown offspring.
Brook Lynn almost told Chase the whole truth, but she left out one significant detail: the baby’s father is his partner at the PCPD.
Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is the son Brook Lynn gave up for adoption all those years ago. Lois didn’t even reveal to her bestie, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), that the father is Olivia’s son, Dante.
Presumably, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) doesn’t know that Gio belongs to Brook Lynn. We have our own theories about that, however.
It would make sense if Lois told Sonny about Gio being his grandson. He’s been paying for his college education and violin lessons.
We know that Sonny didn’t know that Dante was his son until after he shot him years ago when he was an undercover cop trying to bust Sonny.
Ironically, Olivia kept Dante a secret from Sonny due to his dangerous mafia business. Rena Sofer, who plays Lois, even hinted in a recent interview that Lois may have confided in someone other than Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). It might be Sonny.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Was Touched By Chase’s Compassionate Response
Perhaps at some point, Lois informed Sonny he had a grandson in Gio. That would explain his significant interest in his life.
However, Brook Lynn only met Cody when he came parachuting into the Metro Court pool. We can see them shifting the story to make it so that Sonny is also involved. The story has already been rewritten.
Lois has several reasons to keep Gio’s identity on the down-low. Brook Lynn gave birth to Gio, and Lois wanted to keep him close to the family. Of course, Gio will be shocked to learn he was adopted.
Brook Lynn was touched that Chase was handling the baby news so well. He was incredibly understanding and even expressed his dismay over Brook Lynn having to endure the pain of never knowing her child.
Brook Lynn didn’t even know whether the child was a boy or a girl. Lois and Brook Lynn made this decision so that Brook Lynn could fully let the baby go. However, Chase wonders if the child tried to find Brook Lynn.
GH has been changing some of the soap’s history, including the addition of a teenage fling between Brook Lynn and Dante. Somehow, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is privy to Brook Lynn’s baby secret and even knows that Dante is the father.
We can see Brook Lynn and Chase deciding to search for Brook Lynn’s long-lost kid. Lois has known it’s Gio all along. When the truth comes out, Brook Lynn and Dante’s worlds will be turned upside down.
