90 Day Fiancé alumni Asuelu Pulaa has just made a shocking wedding announcement! Asuelu from Samoa originally appeared in the franchise to marry Kalani Faagata.
The couple would marry and experience a multitude of infidelity issues mostly on Asuelu’s side. They appeared in the first season of The Last Resort in the hopes of mending their marriage for the better.
However, they would leave the couple’s retreat broken up, but willing to co-parent their children.
After the couple broke up, they committed to co-parenting while Kalani moved on to a new relationship. Kalani began dating and even had a new baby with her boyfriend Dallas.
Meanwhile, Asuelu kept his dating life private as he focused on hanging out with his two sons. However, in a recent live stream, Asuelu reveals a whole lot more about his life and who he has been seeing.
Asuelu’s Live Stream
90 Day Fiancé blogger therealitytvmess posted a clip from Asuelu’s recent TikTok live stream. In the stream, Asuelu reveals that he is going to marry his girlfriend in Zimbabwe the next day!
He explains that he has already proposed and is preparing for his “big day.” However, he responds to the supposed wishes of his fans to attend the wedding. Any fan who wishes to appear must pay for their own hotel and flight. To show up at the wedding at all, Asuelu requests “$1,000.”
Asuelu states that he needs the money to help pay for the wedding. “I need money to pay the wedding s**t.” It’s hard to tell whether Asuelu is joking about his request or not, especially since his announcement came so suddenly. Many fans accuse him of acting like his family who were adamant about being sent money by Kalani. “Give me money, give me money …. Sounds like his Momma and Sister,” says @pourfectiondesigns.
Many fans were also concerned as to where Kalani and Asuelu’s sons fit into the equation. It’s believed that Asuelu may move to Zimbabwe, making it harder for him to see his sons or co-parent at all. Blogger 90dayfiance_alexa posted screenshots from Kalani’s recent Q&A. When asked how the co-parenting is going, Kalani answers, “It’s going great! We both want the best life for the boys and will do whatever is necessary for that to happen.” This was posted the day before Asuelu’s stream.
What Asuelu’s New Marriage Means
It’s unknown right now whether Asuelu will move to Zimbabwe with his soon-to-be wife or go back to America. Considering his good ties with Kalani and his sons, it’s more likely for him to return.
Asuelu posts about his sons very often, so it’s clear that he deeply cares about them. However, there is always the possibility of him to surprise us.
When it comes to his request for money, I’m still stumped as to how serious he was about it.
If Asuelu is struggling financially, then that should be more than enough proof that he should wait to marry. Then again, it could have just been him poking fun at his fans.
