Kate Middleton’s upbringing helped her make the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood a success. The importance of childhood in someone’s physical and mental development is well-documented. However, the message doesn’t always reach people, and the Princess of Wales has set out to change that.
Kate Created The Royal Foundation Center For Early Childhood In 2021
Kate has made her early years the focus of much of her work. She created the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood in 2021.
Her aim is to raise awareness of the significance of these years and conduct research to boost knowledge and improve outcomes.
Kate took on the project when Louis was very little, and she has experience raising three children, which helps her understand how challenging parenthood can be.
Princess Catherine has admitted that her childhood was “very happy.” In an interview in 2020, she acknowledged,
“I’m very lucky. I’ve come from a strong family. My parents were hugely dedicated to us, my siblings. I really appreciate now how much they sacrificed for us.”
Kate’s mother and father, Carole and Michael Middleton, gave Kate the tools necessary to prepare for her life as the future Queen.
Of course, they didn’t know it then, but their stability and guidance grounded her and planted the roots for her children to thrive.
Marrying into the royal family can be intimidating, but Kate was determined to succeed. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she had to possess the fortitude to carry on, not only for the monarchy and Commonwealth but also for her own family.
These challenges require resilience, and the grounding that her parents provided her with as a child and into her adult years gave her the ability to persevere.
“Let Us Build A More Loving, Empathetic, And Compassionate Society Together”
Kate has said that the way she was raised is how she intends to parent. Her parents attended every sports competition she was involved in and would be on the sidelines cheering her on.
It’s those simple moments, she said, that are so important to children, and they help shape their lives.
Kate shares invaluable parenting advice in a forward to the new Shaping Us framework, which she will launch in public this week.
She shares the most effective way to help children grow into happy and healthy adults,
“Let us build a more loving, empathetic, and compassionate society together.”
She explains,
“To create a physically and mentally healthier society, we must reset, restore, and rebalance. We must invest in humankind.”
Kate wrote that many people feel isolated and vulnerable.
“The impact of this, poor mental health, addiction, and abuse can be devastating,”
She adds.
“If we are to address this properly, if we are to find real, lasting solutions to these deep-rooted challenges and create a physically and mentally healthier society, we must reset, restore, and rebalance. We must invest in humankind,”
She proclaims.
Kate Middleton’s approach to early development is compassionate and practical. Interestingly, she also made a declaration that she wants people to focus on her work and not her wardrobe.
The Princess wants people to remain focused on the issues, people, and the causes she’s spotlighting, not her clothing.
