General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 30 reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) continues to ignore basically everyone. Meanwhile, the latest about Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has everyone reeling. Plus, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) struggles with her past. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 30: About time…
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal it’s been inevitable for a while. Especially with basically everyone telling Carly she shouldn’t trust Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure). Now, she and Brennan get closer following Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) attempt on his life. We can’t wait for people to hear about this one, as you know they’re going to give Carly an earful. Still, we’re glad they finally went there. Whatever is or isn’t going on with Brennan, he and Carly make a good pairing. The chemistry is there and it just feels like he genuinely wants to help her. And that will be even more so now that she basically saved his skin.
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 30: Aftermath
Elsewhere, the news that Sam was murdered is rocking worlds. For example, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) confides in Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) after hearing the news. It’s obvious this has done nothing to alleviate her guilt, as Maxie warns her that feeling guilty will get her nowhere. We can see why she feels guilty about it, but Maxie is right. It’s on Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), no one else.
As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll brief Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). It seems he has a similar reaction to Lulu after hearing the news. He tells Chase he might never be able to look at Lulu without thinking about Sam. Again, we understand the impulse while still not thinking it’s fair.
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 30: Here we go
Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal the re-write no one seems to care about is taking center stage. Brook Lynn wants to tell Chase about her baby. We’re not sure what good that’s really going to do, especially since this was something that happened so long ago. And we doubt it’s really going to ease Chase’s guilt about depriving Brook Lynn of pregnancy and motherhood. In fact, he might just feel worse knowing that she missed her possibly only chance to watch a baby grow up. Not to mention the awkward when it comes out that Dante is the father.
