Kate Middleton forges ahead after her measured return to public life and was recently seen skiing with Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The Trip Is an Encouraging Sign Kate Middleton Is On The Mend
Kate Middleton and her family enjoyed a holiday in the Alps as they quietly snuck away from their home in Anmer on the Sandringham estate sometime after the New Year and stayed for a few days.
The family was spotted at a mountaintop restaurant sipping hot drinks on a cold January morning. A staff member exclaimed,
“They looked like a normal English family, and many people didn’t recognize them.”
They added,
“It was not the first time we had seen them. They have been coming here for years. I think they love the area. We often see Kate’s sister, Pippa, as well.”
The restaurant is known for its good food and scenic views of snow-covered hills. It is believed that other members of the Middleton family joined them.
Kate’s brother, James, recently shared Instagram photos skiing with his wife, Alizee, son, Inigo, with their two adorable golden retrievers, Mabel and Isla.
Everyone was relieved when Kate announced in September that she was cancer-free. It was even more exciting when she revealed she was officially in remission last week.
The trip is a positive and encouraging sign that the Princess of Wales is recovering and doing well. Kate has expressed that she’s looking forward to undertaking public duties now that she’s in remission.
The Princess Of Wales’s Main Priorities Are Her Family And Health
Kate is expected to get all dolled up and attend the Bafta Film Awards next month. Everyone has their fingers crossed that she’ll walk the red carpet with William. If she opts to attend the event, it will be her first high-profile appearance since cancer treatment.
The Bafta Awards hold significance to the royal family, as Kate even attended the awards ceremony in 2018 while she was heavily pregnant with Louis. The first time she went with William was in 2017.

Kate admitted last week, during a public engagement at Royal Marsden Hospital, that she still has difficulty and lingering effects from chemotherapy.
In other words, some days, she has more energy than others. Royal Marsden is the hospital where she had her treatment. She thanked the staff and doctors at the hospital for their kindness, care, and support.
The Princess also empathized with patients at the hospital, as she knows cancer is a viscous, unpredictable disease. Speaking from experience, she assured them there was “light at the end of that tunnel.”
Kensington Palace announced that the future Queen would join her husband, the Prince of Wales, as joint royal patron of Royal Marsden, a role that was once held by William’s mother, Princess Diana.
The Princess’s number one priority these days is spending time with her family, focusing on her health, and enjoying the special little moments and “simple things” life has to offer.
Kate is embarking on a slow, measured return to public life after bravely announcing her cancer diagnosis last March. She went through a challenging year and came to the other side stronger and more thankful than ever.
