Princess Kate turns 43 today, and after a tumultuous and challenging year, she deserves to celebrate in style. In a sweet birthday message, Prince Willam praised his wife’s strength and added that he, George, Charlotte, and Louis are “so proud of her.”
Prince William Posted A Heartfelt Birthday Tribute To Princess Kate
The heir to the throne wrote,
“Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you.”
The post was shared alongside an unseen picture of Kate taken last summer. William said,
“To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis, and I are so proud of you. Happy birthday, Catherine. We love you.”
In addition to surviving the year from hell and coming out of it stronger and wiser, Kate should be applauded for her impeccable style.
As her role within the monarchy evolves, she consistently makes fashion choices that reflect her poise and grace, proving that she understands her style represents the monarchy.
Amanda Wakely, designer to the royals, claims that though Princess Kate remained primarily out of the public eye for most of 2024, she made each time she attended an event special with her fashion choices and stately presence.
Princess Catherine also doesn’t need to be seen in a new outfit for every occasion. She often upcycles and changes outfits she’s already worn.
Wakely said,
“Catherine has ensured every public outing is a moment to remember.”
When Kate attended Trooping the Color in June, she wore an “Audrey Hepburn – inspired” dress by Jenny Packham.
Wakley said this was Kate’s favorite outfit. It was white with black trim and had a large bow at the neck. It was classic Kate, and it was an upcycled version of a dress she wore on May 2023, the eve of King Charles’s coronation.
Kate Displayed Her Winning Style With Festive Fashion Choices For Christmas
For Christmas this year, Kate wore an emerald green Alexander McQueen coat designed by Sarah Burton, which she previously wore on a trip to Leeds in January 2023. She looked radiant, arriving at St. Mary Magdelene church in Norfolk for Christmas mass.
For another festive look, Kate also chose a merry and bright red Alexander McQueen coat with a smart bow at the collar, which she wore to this year’s Christmas Carol concert, an event close to her heart.
For her appearance at Wimbledon to watch the Men’s singles final in July, Kate rocked a regal violet-purple Safayiaa dress with a flared skirt. She was beaming as she received a standing ovation from the crowd of admirers.
The Princess of Wales loves to accessorize with bows and other baubles she puts together for the occasion.
Wakley explained,
“As a future Queen consort, Kate’s wardrobe is no longer just about style; it’s a masterclass in diplomacy and symbolism.”
She continues,
“Her outfits are imbued with meaning, showcasing her understanding of how fashion can communicate values.”
She concluded,
“She prioritizes timeless elegance over fleeting trends, which ensures her style choices are enduring.“
Kate’s return to royal duties has been nothing short of triumphant. The Princess’s 43rd birthday will be an intimate family gathering. She will have a small celebration with William and her children. Happy Birthday, Kate!
