‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan on the soap, recently got engaged to his lovely girlfriend, Michelle Lundstrom.
Michelle is a food influencer who got her start from her appearance on Netflix’s The American BBQ Showdown. She is a public figure and internet personality who rounds it out with cooking, grilling, and podcasting.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Burton First Announced Their Relationship in May 2024
Burton announced in May 2024 on his Daily Drama podcast with fellow GH actor Bradford Anderson, who plays Damian Spinelli that he was in a relationship with Lundstrom.
He arrived with her on his arm at the Daytime Emmys in June, and since then, they have been regularly sharing fun stories about their romance on social media.
They enjoyed trips together to New York City and Nashville, and in August, Lundstrom shared a sweet video montage on Instagram of them on Burton’s 54th birthday.
In one of the pictures on his Instagram, Burton is shown getting down on one knee as he proposes to his lady love, and his new fiancé looks equally surprised and thrilled as she has her hands covering her mouth, squealing in excitement.
Obviously, she responded to him with an emphatic yes.
There were some other photos of the happy couple looking blissful, and they were clearly meant for each other.
The soap actor was previously married to Sheree Gustin, whom he officially divorced in December 2023. Burton initially announced their breakup in May 2022.
The former spouses share three children, Makena, Brooklyn, and Jack, and were married for twenty-three years. The circumstances surrounding their marriage dissolution were shocking.
Fortunately, Burton found love again with Michelle Lundstrom. They will undoubtedly have an exciting journey as they plan their upcoming nuptials.
After Burton announced his engagement, his GH family immediately posted congratulatory messages in the comment section of his engagement post.
