‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to close out the week in style with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The Friday, January 3 episode looks like it’s going to be largely Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

That’s a good thing as she’s one of the most fun characters on the show and a personal favorite.

She’s going to have a realization when she remembers the accident. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) wasn’t driving the other car, so she’ll let that go.

She’ll share it with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier). She’ll add that she’s moving forward and letting the chips fall where they may in 2025.

Her kids won’t believe her, but they’ll want to. it’s perfect timing since Sharon also went missing.

Speaking of Sharon, while she’s being held, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) will discuss her future.

Ian’s going to share his plan about killing Sharon and blaming it on Phyllis. The reason? So he can step in as Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes)’s father figure while she’s grieving.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, January 3: Phyllis turns over a new leaf?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers would love to believe Phyllis will follow through on her promise.

The thing is, she won’t be allowed to. Especially since she’s the target of Ian’s plotting once again.

The one good thing in her favor is that Nick will suspect Ian took Sharon, though he won’t know how.

Nick already thinks he messed with Sharon’s medication, so he’ll be firing on all cylinders. Especially since he once again forgot all about Sharon until someone mentioned her.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, January 3: Ian’s goal is Mariah

At least Ian is consistent, though he’s really warped to think he’ll be able to step in when Sharon’s gone.

Mariah won’t accept him in any way, shape, or form. The same with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) when Jordan gets her chance.

If she gets a chance with how fast things will probably fall apart.

There is some real danger for Sharon at the moment as she’s unconscious and tied up. So, she’s easy pickings for them, but Nick will get Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get involved.

This will lead to everyone looking for them, and that will complicate Ian’s plans more than he can imagine.

Will Phyllis keep her word about changing? Let us know in the comments below.
