‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers hint that significant changes are about to happen in Port Charles. One of those changes will affect Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sasha And Cody Never Got the Story They Deserved
Sasha is in a romantic relationship with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), which is moving slower than molasses. Granted, the pair is entertaining when they do get screen time.
Sasha hasn’t had much of a story since she was sprung from Ferncliff by Cody, who saved her from the clutches of the evil Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
We had all hoped it would be the start of an unforgettable love story between Sasha and Cody, but so far, so meh. The couple should have been given a good storyline after they left that hellish place.
However, they were promptly placed on the back burner. Between the game of musical writers and Cody’s paternity story with Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Sasha and Cody never got the story they deserved. But hopefully, that could change.
Spoilers confirm that on October 17th, Sasha will receive “life-changing news.” It will start on October 16th with a conversation that Sasha has with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), in which she asks him for a favor.
Anything could be possible from a story involving Cody or a career move that might send her away from Port Charles, such as a terrific culinary opportunity.
It may also be another storyline possibility we longed for Sasha. We could be about to learn more about her own family. She could want to investigate her roots, leading to a significant discovery, such as familial ties with a central character or family on the show.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sasha Could Learn More About Her Familial Ties
The Quartermaines are great, but she should know more about her lineage. Sasha knows that Michael has connections that could help her. It could literally be with anything, but we think it will either be a fun and exciting new story or a reason for her to leave Port Charles.
If she does opt to leave town, Cody will need to make a tough choice whether he wants to join her or not. Since he’s finally making inroads with his biological father, Mac, he may stick around and continue to get to know his family.
It would be a shame to see Sasha go. However, the show has made many mistakes lately. One of them being firing long-standing cast member Kelly Monaco. We wouldn’t be surprised if they made another blunder with Sofia Mattsson.
However, if a new story altering Sasha’s future positively comes to fruition, it will be a welcome change, which the show has been lacking lately.
We could learn something new about her biological mom. Sasha could discover that the person she believed was her mother wasn’t related to her at all.
It could be an interesting new story for her and Cody. She could search deeper into her family history and uncover something shocking.
Whatever the case, we hope it doesn’t take Sasha away from Port Charles. The writers could do so much more with her character.
