‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease the show may have found its new Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan). Rumors suggest that Jennifer Landon will play the new Lulu.

A fan on X tweeted that Scarlett Fernandez, who plays Charlotte Cassadine on the soap, is following Jen Landon on social media, and she has no other connection to her that anyone can think of.
Landon’s name has been tossed around as a potential Lulu. She appeared on As the World Turns from 2005 to 2010 as the character Gwen Munson.
She played legal eagle Heather Stevens on The Young and the Restless from 2012 to 2022 but was later replaced by Vail Bloom. Landon also appeared on Days of Our Lives for a couple of episodes in 2017. She last appeared on Yellowstone in 2022.
If Landon picks up a role in GH, it will reunite her with former co-star Maura West, who played troublemaker Carly Tenney on As the World Turns. It would be cool if they shared scenes.
Jen Landon resembles a combination of Emme Rylan and Julie Marie Berman. She’s also in the right age group to play Lulu.
Spoilers say that nuLulu will start filming in September. Will this coincide with Sam McCall‘s (Kelly Monaco) exit? If the petition to keep Sam doesn’t work out, Sam’s death will crush Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and Lulu’s resurgence will help him.
Dante has been raising Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) with Sam, and they’ve built their own little blended family. When Sam is suddenly taken away from him, Lulu can potentially be there to pick up the pieces.

Landon also played on Highway to Heaven with her father, Michael Landon. He had nine children, and Jennifer was one of his youngest.
Some fans had hoped that since the show didn’t ask Emme Rylan to return as Lulu, they would pull a fast one and bring back the original Lulu, Jule Marie Berman.
It would have been wonderful to see Berman back as Lulu since she had such wonderful sisterly chemistry with Johnathan Jackson, who’s returned to his role as Lucky Spencer.
Berman was also more believable as Luke Spencer‘s (Tony Geary) and Laura Collins‘s (Genie Francis) daughter. She was feisty and had the right spunk to play Lulu.
Lulu was last seen after the explosion at the Floating Rib, where Julian Jerome (William deVry) had put a bomb upon Cyrus Renault‘s (Jeff Kober) orders.
Lulu was at General Hospital and was about to tell Dante that she still loved him. But she lapsed into a coma due to traumatic brain injury before she had the chance.
Now, Lulu requires a liver transplant because the medicine they have been giving her negatively affected that organ.
Spoilers infer that perhaps Sam will get into a tragic car accident or something will happen that will put her in a position to donate her liver to Lulu if she’s a match.
Recasts can be difficult for fans because they get used to having the same person portray the character they adore.
Lulu is a beloved character; hopefully, if Landon steps into those shoes, she does the character justice.
