‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out in style.
There’s going to be some interesting moments in Friday, July 12’s episode.
It looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take another shot at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) through Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
This will be interesting on a couple of levels and should make things interesting going into next week.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will continue to work to impress Summer Newman (Alison Lanier).
She’s been on a good run, but she also wants to make sure she and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) have a permanent job.
This may have to do with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) returning, even if it’s just briefly.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, July 12: An offer he can’t refuse
With Adam’s son turning a corner in his treatment, it’s likely that he and Chelsea will return to work.
Sure, they have plenty of baggage, but we think returning to work is how they’ll try to forget and move on.
For Adam, that’s going to be talking with Victor about taking over Newman Media, which no one is in favor of.
The fact it’s temporary and he’s been working well with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t sit well with Adam or anyone else.
But Victor let him know some of what he expects, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think he’ll share the rest here.
Then he’ll give Adam his marching orders to target Jabot. Whether it’s sharing negative reviews or propping up Glissade or a combination, Adam’s job will be to sway the public’s perception.
Adam has a good relationship with Jack, so he may be conflicted. But in the end, we expect he’ll side with Victor.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, July 12: Sally readies for Chelsea’s return
With Adam returning to work, it makes sense Chelsea will too, if only to lose herself in something besides thinking of Adam.
Of course, Sally and Chloe stepped in to cover for her, and now there’s a chance they’ll be out.
They’ve impressed Summer so far, but we think Sally will have more work to do to win her over.
There’s a good chance Summer will be torn and may consider keeping all three of them. Since they worked together before, it’d make sense.
