‘General Hospital’(GH) spoilers reveal that Nancy Lee Grahn, who plays Alexis Davis on the show, recently spoke out on X, formerly known as Twitter. Grahn defended ex-castmate Haley Pullos, who was the first Molly Lansing Davis on GH.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Pullos Was Sentenced to Three Months In Jail
Many fans were shocked to learn that Pullos was implicated in a drunk driving accident and almost killed someone. Pullos was sentenced to three months after pleading no contest to a DUI charge for a drunk driving accident that occurred in April 2023.
She was driving the wrong way on the freeway and crashed into a young man named Courtney Wilder. Wilder was rushed, in critical condition, to the hospital. Shortly after her arrest, she was fired from GH.
Fortunately, he survived. Grahn took to X to defend Haley, not once, but twice, now. The first time, she said, “As Haley’s TV Mom, I can tell some truths about her, as I’ve loved her ever since she was a little girl. She made a huge mistake, knows it, owns it, and has spent the last year doing everything imaginable to take responsibility for it.
Earlier today, she posted on social media about Pullos’s prison experience,
“For those who wished for Haley to be punished with no exceptional treatment, you’ll be relieved to know that she’s in a maximum security solitary confinement alongside hardened criminals. She’s isolated except for one hour a day when she has phone privileges. Today with me.”
Grahn goes on to say how impressed she is with Pullos’s strength and all the accountability she’s supposedly taken. She said that she was proud of her.
Then she explains all of Pullos’s winning qualities: “she’s respectful, a student,” and most notably, she’s apparently never been in this kind of trouble before.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Let’s Keep The Current Molly
Grahn is not admitting that Pullos has probably done this before; she just hasn’t been caught. And Pullos didn’t seem so respectful after it was reported that when the first responders had to use the jaws of life to get her out of her car, which was damaged beyond repair, she screamed at them,
“Get your hands off my $400 f***ing shirt.”
Grahn disregards this fact and says that the media is painting her as a spoiled brat who’s a drunken mess. The media ‘s goal was to get clicks.
At least she admits that Pullos drank heavily and got into a car. Apparently, she’s helping her victim receive the most compensation possible. That’s nice of her.
While it is true that people are entitled to make mistakes, it has been widely reported that Pullos blamed the accident on her victim and asked the judge to dismiss the case. It was also noted that she had been drinking behind the wheel.
In addition to the 90 days she will serve in prison, she will also need to do five years probation, 200 hours of community service, and pay a hefty restitution to the other driver involved.
GH has been through three Molly’s since Pullos left the show. The current Molly, Kristen Vaganos, is doing a fantastic job. Hopefully, the show will be smart enough to stick with her and not rehire Pullos.
