‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is hurt and angry. He knew the minute Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned to Port Charles, his relationship with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was over.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew Resents Going to Prison to Protect Carly
Drew may resent that he went to prison to protect Carly, and all he got out of it was a lousy t-shirt (it says, “Poor substitute for Jason Morgan”).
So, he wasn’t exactly the love of Carly’s life. We all knew that. But it seems like Drew didn’t. Drew may use Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to get back at Carly.
Picture it: he could wine and dine her in the places where he knows Carly will most likely be. OR he can just snoop around to find out about her dinner plans.
When Drew and Nina fought in her office, she obviously knew how to push his buttons. The sparks were flying, and it was clear that there was underlying tension between the two of them.
Nina may not realize it initially, but she will be a pawn in Drew’s little game of revenge. He may have hired Nina back at Crimson to get under Carly’s skin.
Drew may bring Nina into the loop, who will jump at the chance to throw it in Carly’s face. The only problem with this plan is that Carly won’t care.
She’s far too busy reconnecting with Jason and defending him to everyone and anyone who will listen. Jason puts himself on the line for Jason, as he’s working for John “Jagger” Cates as an FBI informant.
He’s protecting Carly from getting into trouble, probably from the Nixon Falls days when the whole town believed that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was dead.
Nina basically kidnapped the memory-challenged mobster. Carly took the reigns of Sonny’s business. Now Jason is keeping her out of prison as well.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Things Could Heat Up for Drew and Nina
Carly doesn’t know that yet, but when she finds out, she will see it as an even more significant, more meaningful gesture than what Drew did for her, which Drew will likely see.
That’s when things could heat up between Drew and Nina. Drew may have no choice but to try to forget Carly, and Nina will be right there for him.
Nina talks a good game, but she feels remorse for Drew being collateral damage and him going to jail because she was trying to get revenge on Carly for keeping her daughter, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), a secret from her.
Nina will listen to Drew pour his heart out about how he loved Carly and thought they were good together. Pity could become something more, and they may end up in a tangled web of passion.
There was obviously some heat between them in the office, and we doubt he hired Nina back out of the goodness of his heart. Drew has a plan. What he’s not counting on is to start having feelings for Nina, and it will take both of them by surprise.
Maybe Drew and Nina will end up falling in love. Stranger things have happened in Port Charles.
