Well, things in Salem are getting interesting as the DiMera’s are getting ready to implode thanks to EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish)’s feud, and ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers are ready for some epic fallout.
At least, that’s our hope as Stefan is now backed into a corner with EJ gleefully trying to pack him away to a far corner of the world where he’ll be isolated and destitute.
While that’s one possible outcome, it wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing as it’d give Stefan a chance to reconnect with his mother, who also refused to help him with Clyde Weston (James Read), and rebuild himself and come back to take over DiMera.
That would put him in the Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) of would be conqueror and give the show the evil foil they’ve needed for years instead of propping up a Clyde or other for the short term.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – The first step
Often the first step in building someone up if to strip them down, and it’s hard to be more stripped down than Stefan is currently.
He’s made plenty of mistakes as he and EJ have shamed the DiMera family name recently, and after he lashes out and destroys Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton)’s relationship, he could make his move.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers expect he’ll try to offer EJ to Harris, assuming Harris will want anything to do with him for a while.
If he does, that’s one way to bring EJ down and hit him where it hurts — taking away his power.
This is probably the best way for him to stay on the show without a break as Harris can get something set up for him, but is it the best way? Especially when Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) finds out he cheated on her and removes something physically important to him?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – The best and worst of both families
This is where we think him taking EJ up on his offer while selling him out will work as it’ll give him a chance to tap into the Alamain family and use some resources that aren’t available to him.
While EJ’s dealing with the fallout of his own inactions, Stefan can grow his power base and come back more ruthless than before.
The writers have missed the mark with him by ignoring he’s part Alamain and DiMera, and that is a combustible mix that could have him step into the void Stefano left.
He won’t be able to fill it as no one will, but it’ll give the show that one evil character to drive everything it’s needed for some time and who better than the mix of two powerful and arguable psychotic families?
