Mahmoud and Nicole Sherbiny shared their love story on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Nicole is an American who wanted to move to Egypt to be with her husband. However, she did not like how she was treated when she arrived.
She couldn’t wear the clothing that she wanted and she didn’t feel like being a devout Muslim was her spiritual path. One thing led to another and she ended up back in California and wanted Mahmoud to come with her.
Now that Mahmoud and Nicole are in the United States, they have been trying to navigate life together. As one of the couples that will appear in the new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, there are plenty of questions about whether or not these two will work.
Not only do fans think that he will not approve of how she acts and dresses in the United States, but now it looks as if Mahmoud isn’t exactly the best husband to her. He was arrested on February 20 and he is being charged with domestic violence. What happened? Let’s find out.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: The News Leaks
One Instagram account, Merry Pants shared the news that Mahmoud had been arrested. They wrote, “Remember that fight Nicole and Mahmoud had in public in Egypt where he grabbed her arm? Something similar happened yesterday between Mahmoud and Nicole.”
Of course, the account was referring to the times that Mahmoud showed his true colors with Nicole while they were in Egypt.
Nicole and Mahmoud fought often when they were both in Egypt together. Nicole felt smothered and she never felt like she belonged there. Moving there was a shock to her and she just knew that to save their marriage, they needed to live where she felt safe and comfortable. Did moving to the States help this? According to this charge, maybe not.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Mahmoud’s Arrest and Happily Ever After
Once the news hit, fans began to search far and wide for any proof that Mahmoud had been arrested. It turns out that he was arrested in Los Angeles with Nicole. His bail was $20K and one of his friends took care of it.
That is the amount that is the starting point for domestic violence charges. Will this change how TLC handles the new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?
TLC just announced that the show is coming back and that Nicole and Mahmoud are one of the featured couples. With this news, some fans think that TLC should edit the couple out of the show. Is that going to happen? We will just have to wait and see.
