‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers would love nothing more than the war between Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to end, but it looks like we’re stuck in the cycle since no one wants to walk away.
At least Carly is willing to now that she’s on top, but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) isn’t having it since he continues to blame Nina for his own decisions nearly getting him killed, and there’s a chance for some fun angles in this storyline.
Carly is showing signs that she’s done fighting since she hasn’t finished grieving for her mother before moving on from honoring her legacy to work with Drew.
And now that Drew is taking Nina’s latest retaliation as an excuse to reignite the feud, it’s only a matter of time until she reaches her limit and ends things with Drew.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – She keeps getting pulled back in
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers have been saying for a while we’d love to see Nina and Carly just move on as their feud has become tired at this point, and it looks like Carly is willing to try this time.
But the writers found a way around that by feeding into Drew’s unending hate for Nina after he decided not to fight the charges, threw himself on his sword for Carly, and was outed as a spy in prison in minutes and beaten for it.
Nina set things in motion, but his bad choices, of putting Carly ahead of his family, is what got him into those predicaments.
And after he sought to destroy Nina, he’s upset she’s daring to fight back despite everyone knowing she would.
Since he seems intent on drawing a line and either firing everyone in Aurora that has anything to do with Nina or force them to cut her off, things will get even uglier.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Will have to stand on her own
Carly has a habit of having everyone run to bail her out from her mom leaving her Kelly’s to be forgotten for a time, to Drew offering her another job, and so on.
It hasn’t done her character any good since she keeps trying to do things on her own but others won’t let her.
Now is the perfect time for her to cut Drew loose and return to Bobbie’s and run it and honor her mother’s memory like she intended before Drew sidetracked her.
It’ll be a great way for her to balance the scales and find herself and she can do it without relying on Drew or anyone else going forward and that will make her a force down the road.
