One thing ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers have never understood about this and other shows is why, when someone is extremely dangerous, do people get in the face of and goad these dangerous people?
We get that it’s about not showing fear and being confident, but how about showing some intelligence and self preservation?
What gets us is Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) had to know Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) would go off the rails when confronting Clyde Weston (James Read).
But then Everett joined Chad in goading him in what was about as unprofessional an interview as possible.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Now they’ve done it
That was one of the toughest scenes to watch simply because it was so cringy.
Chad’s actions were understandable, especially since he’s not a professional reporter and doesn’t have the wherewithal in general to keep from overstepping.
So ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers have to give him a pass on this one. It helps we don’t expect him to make wise decisions until he gets some help in dealing with Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller)’s death.
But Everett? That was totally out of character for him as he got swept up in Chad’s momentum, and it’s a mistake that’s going to cost both of them.
It’s going to be fun seeing what all Clyde has planned, and we’re pretty sure we know what will happen to two of the three that mocked him.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Time for payback
Of course, we can add Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) to the list as well, and Clyde has plans for all of them. He hasn’t been shy about threatening their loved ones for crossing him. Cagey, sure, but not shy.
So things are going to start hitting hard for all three men with Harris getting shot and possibly killed (this is Salem, after all, and death is never the end) and the Horton house will burn down.
We’ve been waiting weeks to see the fire at the Horton house and what will cause it, and now it looks like it’ll be Clyde’s handiwork as retribution.
This is about as egregious an act as can be done aside from desecrating the Horton Town Square or destroying the Christmas ornaments.
We’re curious how far the show will take the fire, but considering Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will move in with Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) tells us it’s going to be some serious damage.
