This past week, 90 Day Fiancé cast member, Cleo Corraine had to address some important issues going on in her life. Being a trans woman, she has dealt with a lot of hate in her life.
This has added stress to her mental health and she has been very open about it with her followers on social media. However, in her last post, she posted a message that made her fans incredibly concerned for her.
In this post, she wrote a goodbye note on Instagram and it turns out that many of her fans thought that she was writing a goodbye note for everyone.
They immediately thought this was some type of suicide note that she wanted to share with everyone who follows her on Instagram. It turns out that Cleo was shocked that her followers thought that she wrote this for attention.
Even though some fans felt this was a cry for help, while others felt like she just wanted attention. Other fans felt very concerned for her mental wellbeing. As soon as Cleo began to get backlash for her post, she immediately thought that she needed to apologize to her followers. She was upset that she had caused her followers so much stress. She told her fans that it was supposed to be a love letter of sorts, but her followers didn’t see it that way at all.
Cleo wrote, “I have been subjected to in real-life transphobia lately and I guess I pretended it was ok but I ended up internalizing it a lot.”
Cleo also mentioned that she does go to a dark place at times when she gets hate for being trans. She is now more aware of her actions on social media and doesn’t want to cause this worry again.

After all of the concern that Cleo got on social media, she wrote an apology. She wrote, “I have so many friends and supporters, I really did not need any attention.”
She wanted to apologize to all of the people that followed her that she may have offended. She also mentioned to her fans that she was going to continue to be strong and work on her posts because of this experience.
It looks like Cleo continues to share her feelings about being trans and this post really caught her followers by surprise. They do hope that she won’t do this again.
