‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that believing someone is a threat is not overridden by talk. What happened on Mulholland Drive remains a point of contention and is unlikely to go away.
John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is bothered by what Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) told him. But Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wants her husband to drop it.
Finn’s agreement to do so was based on a heat-of-the-moment response. He recognized Steffy’s discomfort and agreed to back off. Wood’s character breathed a sigh of relief when Finn said he would relent.
But what about Hope Logan (Annika Noelle)?

Steffy insisted that her ever-troubled brother was pure as a freak snowstorm on a mid-January night in Los Angeles, California, on a January night. But as she relied on the LA Police Department’s clear of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), he told Hope his so-called truth.
Regressive thought does not recognize reality in this version of reality. Thomas is one of those misguided, or intentional, souls who does not believe in truth. Instead, he puts his spin on his truth or what he wants to be: Hope’s truth.
Con artists try to scam others. That is what Thomas is doing by mincing Xander’s words in claiming no responsibility for Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) death.

But the only truth is as follows. Emma died while Thomas was chasing her. He intended to stop her from reaching the cabin.
Thomas verbally fought with Emma before she eluded him at Forrester Creations. That came after she learned Thomas was concealing the truth about Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) being alive.
Emma wanted Hope to know that the girl Steffy believed she had adopted was not Phoebe Forrester. Following the backward account in this section header, Thomas purposely used that part of the story to manipulate Hope’s emotions. He was claiming a desire to want Steffy to have more time with that child as his motivation for his actions in attempting to stop Emma.

It would seem hard to imagine Finn remaining silent about what he has learned for the rest of his life. He has already confronted Thomas and encouraged Hope to move away from Atkinson’s character.
Finn appeared sincere. But he remains compelled to prevent disaster, which is what Thomas represents in Finn’s opinion.
The next conflict appears set. Finn’s promise to Steffy not to pursue Xander’s allegations about Thomas is the stress point on B&B.
