‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that wanting to believe a family member has improved is laudable. However, choosing to ignore the truth is not.
John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is not a fan of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). But he tolerated him, which is how Finn deals with his wife’s other annoying connection, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
However, Xander Avant’s (Delon de Metz) claim about Thomas being a murderer threw Finn off. Novlan’s character believed Thomas is wrong for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) but never suspected he could murder.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – John Finnegan Wants To Encourage Wife
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is upset. Her brother finally appears to have straightened himself out, and now, Xander returns to town and resurrects an old beef.
Devoted fans had their memories refreshed, and newer viewers learned the disturbing details about Mulholland Drive. But Steffy heard what Finn relayed through Xander and dismissed his concerns.
She says that Xander’s claim about Thomas’ GPS showing he and Emma were both on Mulholland Drive means nothing. Steffy told Finn that Thomas could have been going to Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Finnegan Has To Ask
Finn will not let this go. So, to appease him, Steffy will likely feel compelled to revisit the night Emma died.
Novlan’s character is taking a wise approach by involving his wife. It is respectful of her and Finn’s place in the Forrester family.
In return, along with renewed concerns about her brother, Steffy needs to talk to Thomas. Finn had already confronted him, and nothing more could be gained there. But Steffy knows her brother and might be able to determine if there are cracks in his story.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Backslides To Jail?
Would the writing staff create a scenario where a main character is sentenced to prison for recklessly endangering Emma’s life? Maybe.
However, seeing a renewed focus on its open-ended conclusion is satisfying as this storyline unfolds. Besides Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), no one knew what Thomas did that night.
The audience knows that Thomas did not reveal everything to his father. He withheld his satisfaction at seeing Emma’s crashed car. While Thomas was not wholly responsible for her car veering off the road, he was glad to have prevented her from telling Hope her daughter was alive on B&B.
