One of the things that can be frustrating for ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers, yet is necessary is the turnover of the cast.
It’s nothing new for shows as actors are brought in for various parts and storylines, and when it’s over they move on. Sometimes, a character is so well done that they grab us and won’t let go. They go on to become regulars and sometimes legendary figures on the show and business.
Since the industry was cut down to four shows, they’ve struggled to build the next generation and have been forced to rely on the stars that helped make them over the decades.
It’s something we see in sports all the time, and it amazes us when shows can’t find storylines or decide to move on by writing off some of the most interesting characters.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Cost cutting?
It’s no secret that soaps have a shoestring budget as many have said in interviews there isn’t much in the way of rehearsal or time given to flesh out a character before shooting begins, so an important factor would be to have a fluid cast.
It’s something that’s been done across the board as actors are brought in for various storylines and become recurring or have that run.
Since they’re usually killed off on most shows if they’re the bad guy, there’s always a second life on soaps as people return from the dead all the time.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers recently had to say goodbye to Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) in such a way. He was a fun character and we hope to see him again, but then there are questionable releases.

We were surprised when Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) was let go as were several members of the cast, and now it looks like they’re writing Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) off by sending her to China.
It feels like such a waste as like with Talia, she’s such a fun character.
We hope they’re not really planning to have her move to China, but they could be out of ideas for her at the moment.
She’s had a couple of fun storylines, but it also feels like she’s not done with Li’s murder and it’d be really cool if she’s the one to uncover who really killed him.
It’d give her closure as well as help her mend fences with Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus).
