Rome, Italy, was fantastical. Not only did Thomas’ creations hit hard with the fashion press, but he also realized a long-sought goal. Hope for the Future was reinvigorated, and the two forced behind it began a most unlikely romantic relationship.
Hope began having repetitive romantic thoughts about Thomas in the months leading to the fashion event in Italy. Their success in Europe led to a magical moment when she kissed him twice.

Assuming Thomas’ engagement ring and proposal are real, Hope has a lot to consider. She did not reciprocate when Thomas said that he loved her.
Clearly, Hope has moved beyond the cliched co-parenting term she and Thomas often referenced. She also advanced past admiration, as proven by their actions in his recently obtained bachelor pad.
Thomas pushed back on his sister’s pressure, telling Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that she needed to back off. He was likely reacting to that challenge of Hope’s feelings when getting down on bended knee.

Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) does not favor her daughter’s involvement with Thomas. Hope takes her mother’s stance with a grain of soapy salt.
Someone could myopically claim that a woman who has remarried a man, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), eight times is determined. A clouded claim could also cite Ridge as being committed to love. Any balanced view of Hope’s mother and Thomas’ father must acknowledge that this particular couple is, well, unique.

Hope is a good-hearted soul who recently lost her soul mate, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). He was not wrong in wanting a divorce, which Hope granted, and is still grieving.
Thomas is Hope’s rebound. But Hope is not Thomas’ second choice. She is his long-time only choice. Some would classify his desire for her as obsessive.
The Logan and Forrester families are right to be concerned and to remain so. Hope’s trusting nature and Thomas’ fragile mind and limited relationship history make this pairing high-risk and highly dangerous on B&B.
