‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers hoped Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) would find love before the end of his run, and it looks like he and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may finally be having their moment.
It was teased early on when they first met and they argued like cats and dogs before settling into a comfortable and solid working and friend relationship.
She was the first one he told about his ALS, so it makes sense that they would at least take a step toward being a couple, though it could’ve just been the adrenaline rush of not dying while skydiving.
There is so much potential for this to be a really great storyline if the writers have the patience to let it play out, and that means we could be in for a treat.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Till the end
While this has some great potential, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers were hoping Gregory and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) would find their way to each other since Tracy’s passion would’ve made it must see TV.
She would’ve raged against his disease and emboldened him to fight and live, but Alexis is just as good a choice as she’ll help him live but in a different way.
Where Tracy would be passionate, she’d most likely insist he fight continuously instead of accepting his fate.
Alexis will stand with him and help him live and enjoy life while he can, making his final days some of the happiest he’s ever had.
It’s a great pairing and it’ll be fun to see how much it’ll grow in the coming weeks, but there is the catch that they may chalk their kissing up to raging emotions and spur of the moment feelings.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Too much to handle
While we would love to see Gregory Chase and Alexis together, there’s a legitimate argument that Alexis has too much on her plate to add the additional emotional weight of a relationship with Gregory.
She’s very rationally minded, so she’ll weigh the pros and cons, check the boxes, and state her argument.
Gregory will do that as well, but we don’t think he’ll go to the same lengths as Alexis and he’ll win her over.
It’ll be good for them and she’ll help him live and he’ll give her an outlet to forget about her family stress and potential problems for a while.
They’ll be good for each other, but that will also make his eventually end all the more painful and poignant and he’ll leave his mark for sure.
