‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers will make you wonder if actress Mishael Morgan may bring the prominent character of Hilary Curtis Hamilton back to life.
There is talk about Morgan possibly reprising the role if Y&R could devise a way that Hilary isn’t dead. One of daytime’s most devastating deaths may not have occurred at all.
‘The Young & The Restless’ Spoilers: Hilary Could Come Back from the Dead
Hilary could return and take back her man. Devon Winters (Bryton James) was heartbroken when his lady love took her last breath. We all saw it happen.
But what if it wasn’t Hilary? Maybe it was someone else on that hospital bed. Morgan has a lot to say about the potential resurrection of her beloved character,
“She totally survived, or someone else faked her death for some reason or another, then whisked her away from the hospital without Devon knowing.”
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) was responsible for the accident that took Hilary’s life. Lily’s son and Hilary’s foster daughter were found in a compromising position.
Lily decided to tell Hilary while she was driving, and Hilary was in the passenger seat. Lily was so angry that she took her eyes off the road and ran through a stop sign, causing the car accident.
They were rushed to the hospital, and Lily came through fine, but poor Hilary, who was pregnant with Devon’s child, lost the baby and was bleeding internally.
When the doctor confirmed that Hilary wouldn’t survive, Devon and Hilary became husband and wife on her deathbed. It was gut-wrenching, and it made for outstanding, quality soap opera.
Now Devon has moved on, and he is with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway); they have a son named Dominic-Newman-Abbot-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). He seems cozy and looking forward to the future.
‘The Young & The Restless’ Spoilers: Hilary’s Twin Sister, Amanda, Could Return to Genoa City
It would be the perfect time for Hilary to return and shake things up. She could show up on their doorstep one day, but she would have a lot of explaining to do.
However, Hilary wouldn’t have to return from the dead for her portrayer to return to the show. Hilary has a twin sister, Amanda Sinclair, a lawyer.
Amanda wasn’t even aware that she had a twin sister named Hilary until she had her DNA compared to Hilary’s.
Devon had lent some items of Hilary to Amanda to borrow to find out the truth. Hilary tracked down her birth mother, who said that she came from a very religious family and had to give her up for adoption.
Amanda started a relationship with Devon, but she decided to leave town when she found out he slept with Abby. She returned briefly in March.
Morgan could very well return as either Hilary or Amanda. The actress reminds the audience, “There’s so much more to explore where Amanda and her family are concerned. So who knows what could happen?”
Mishael Morgan was enormously popular when she was on the show. She became the first black actress to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her portrayal of Amanda Sinclair on The Young & The Restless. Morgan received a standing ovation. It was a well-deserved and historic win.
