‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers are excited to see what’s coming with plenty of fun storylines coming as it was recently announced that AnnaLynne McCord signed a one year deal with the show to play a “fascinating, complicated, and devastatingly beautiful’ character named Marin according to dailymail.co.uk.
Also according to Deadline, Marin is described as being “Almost angelic in her outward appearance. The desire of many but her heart belongs to only one man who continues to push her away for her own good.”
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – A welcome addition
She’s no stranger to the soap world as she’s appeared on numerous prime time shows like FX’s ‘Nip/Tuck’, CW’s ‘90210’ and even TNT’s ‘Dallas’.
One movie that caught our attention with her is the Christmas romantic comedy with Mario Lopez Feliz NaviDAD.
It’s going to be fun seeing her in action in Salem and what kind of trouble her character will be able to stir up. It’s definitely going to be a fun ride.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Opening up about her past
While AnnaLynne is awesomely talented and is fun to watch, like a lot of talented people she also has another side most of us never see or rarely learn about.
In 2021 she talked about her mental health and abuse she sustained on an Amen Clinics vlog. There she announced she developed dissociative identity disorder to deal with being sexually abused as a child from the age of 5-11.
She also had suicidal thoughts and cut herself before deciding to seek out treatment for depression and post-traumatic stress disorder in 2017.
In 2019 she was officially diagnosed with DID.
She’s come a long way since as she’s taken up meditating and ice baths to calm her mind and is reportedly no longer taking any medication and her alters have mostly disappeared.
As with anything, it’s important for all of us to look after our mental health and ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers are happy that she’s found what works for her and has gotten better.
It’ll be interesting to see how much of those experiences will be written into her character or will we draw on them for her on screen work.
The show isn’t shy about dealing with mental health on one hand but seem to shy away from it in other situations so it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
