‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that one’s final legal wish is to save loved ones from making hard choices. So, viewers will see what Eric Forrester (John McCook) wants after he is taken to the hospital following his collapse.
McCook’s character believed only a small circle of people knew the truth. But his terminal diagnosis was known by all party guests at the Forrester mansion.
During a well-crated scene, Eric realizes Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) lied about the fashion challenge. He surveyed the crowd and appeared enraged before telling his son he appreciated his selfless choice. Moments later, Eric fell to the floor, and everyone gasped.

There were many serious moments of dialogue in recent weeks and others where Eric tried to lighten the mood. In particular, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) took the brunt of Eric’s supposed humor.
He joked about not being dead yet and spoke of the Grim Reaper. Donna has been under intense stress as she tries to fake maintaining the secret of Eric’s illness and put on a brave face for the man she loves.

The party proceeded at the Forrester mansion while John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was at the hospital. There were so many people at Eric’s party that viewers needed a reminder of who was missing.
So, comments were made about those who could not attend because of late notice. Some of Eric’s children were mentioned, as was Finn. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was disturbed by her husband’s absence and tried to make him come.
Finn was not in a tuxedo but still wore his doctor’s gear. He was focused on his computer, with the audience sensing that Novlan’s character was trying to develop a solution for Eric’s health crisis.

Eric could have died in the recent past when he collapsed while he and Donna were alone at the mansion. But he did not. That was a precursor to what came next.
Ridge now faces an impossible choice. His father will be in the hospital and appears to have little time left on the earth.
However, Finn’s profession, which he shares with Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones), makes a difference. The plan he is developing can provide Eric with more time. Whether that means years or months will be known if Ridge agrees to try it on B&B.
