Proclamations of love and acts of boldness are regular things on soap operas, and ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers love nothing more than seeing good character growth and acts of boldness always take things to another level for us.
We’ve been hoping for a little more from Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte).
They’ve given us so much, but it felt like we needed that moment of selflessness from both of them to give the couple a chance at being a super couple, and Dimitri came through with flying colors on December 5’s episode.
Not only did he turn himself in, but he backed EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) down with his own law degree and knowledge of the legal system after EJ tore up the agreement Leo had signed.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Watershed moment
This felt like a watershed moment for the two of them, and it should only help cement them as an up and coming super couple if the writing remains on point and we continue seeing them grow.
Leo started it off by willingly falling on his sword and telling Dimitri to go and save himself, and Dimitri’s return balanced those scales.
And like all good couples, he told Leo the truth about Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker)’s baby being alive and well, so now it’ll be up to Leo to save him and ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers expect to see Leo turn the screws on Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) about getting Dimitri out.
He won’t just stop there as we think he’ll try to nudge Nicole and EJ along the road of revelation, but probably won’t have much success after the DNA test, so blackmailing Sloan it is.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Keep pushing
It’s going to be fun to see if Leo is able to work some magic to get Dimitri out of prison, and if he can manage it they’ll be on the road to proving themselves.
More than anything, they’re fun together and their chemistry is off the charts. We’re always looking forward to what’s coming next from them, and that includes getting each other out of trouble.
Now we don’t think this will set them on the straight and narrow road, but it’ll be close and it’ll be fun to see them waver every now and then. They can take turns saving each other and never run out of adventures.
