‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that a long-standing disagreement between sisters establishes another conflict. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) recently revealed a longstanding grudge against her sister, Penelope Poppy Nozawa (Roma Park).
That family conflict broadened when Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) recognized Poppy while warning Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) at Il Giardino. Viewers were led to believe that the presence of Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is tied to Bill’s connection.
An easy get would be to have Luna be Bill’s daughter, whom he never knew about. It is also possible that Poppy does not know Luna’s paternity. But viewers need to learn more plot details to make a confident guess.

Sheila’s presence in the referenced scene lends credence to speculation about Bill. She once drove Li off a bridge after chasing Matsuda’s character from where she was tending to a recovering John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Thankfully, Bill found Li a short while later, took her to his mansion, and helped her recover from shock.
Finn was not ill. He was accidentally shot by Sheila, who intended to wound, if not kill, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood. Bill later pretended to be in love with Sheila. Both characters pressured Finn and Steffy not to provide evidence.
Bill and Sheila’s threat was heeded because they intended to report Li to the authorities for falsely proclaiming Finn dead.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Potential Romantic Connection Shelved
Devoted viewers know that TPTB did not follow through on the potential for romance between Bill and Li. After she recovered her memory, Li moved out of Bill’s home.
Fans were unsure if that plot path was not preferred or if it was shelved for future use. It expands Li’s backstory by introducing Poppy, with whom Bill appears to have a connection, who answers that open question.
Li wants to force Luna out of Forrester Creations and recently warned Poppy not to be in contact with her. That intent is based on Park’s character having unintentionally damaged Li’s reputation at the hospital decades ago. Of course, Matsuda’s character believes Poppy behaved recklessly rather than unintentionally.

An easy fit would have Li decide she will insert herself between Bill and Poppy, assuming his recalled connection proves out. If Bill is Luna’s father, Li will likely trash Poppy more and warn him away from her.
But having Li and Poppy both become involved with Bill would further inflame family tensions. That type of storyline defines daytime and would be engaging for viewers of B&B.
