‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) may be more angry at Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for blackmailing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) than at Nina for blowing the whistle on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Michael has acted like a jerk since he learned that Nina had ratted to the SEC. Granted, Nina is no saint, and she deserves what she is going to get, but what Michael is doing is underhanded and deceitful.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael is Seeking Revenge on Nina
Michael blackmailing Nina seems more like revenge than protecting his wife and mother from harm. Michael enjoys bending Nina to his will and making her squirm.
The Quartermaine-Corinthos should have told his father and mother about Nina’s scheme immediately, but Michael has chosen a much darker path.
Willow is just beginning to accept Nina as her mother, and it should be her choice whether to forgive her or not when she finds out the truth. Michael is acting like Willow is some delicate butterfly who needs constant protection.
He isn’t giving Willow the benefit of her own choices. Instead, he is lying and manipulating the situation to his advantage.
Willow forgave Carly when she kept the truth about Nina being her mother from her. She forgave Carly super fast, and while Willow has had her differences with Nina, she might understand that Nina did what she did before Willow asked her to drop her selfish vendetta against Carly.
Even on Thanksgiving, when Nina came to the Quartermaine’s with pizza from the Metro Court, Michael could not resist getting a dig into Nina.
“This wasn’t the deal we made, Nina,”
He reminded her. She even told little Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) that she couldn’t stay for dinner, but Michael wasted no time belittling her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Either Fess Up or Drop the Vendetta
Nina is Willow’s mother, and Willow is already grilling Michael about why he is not letting go of the past. She understands that Nina is not his favorite person, but she feels like Nina is trying to be a better person. She doesn’t know what Nina did.
Michael either needs to fess up to Willow or drop his vendetta. He can’t have it both ways. Sidebar: Nina must know that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will not remain silent forever. Nina not telling the truth at this point is plain silly and stupid.
If Nina ever made one wise decision, it should be to come clean to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Willow before someone else gets to them first.
That way, at least Michael couldn’t hold it over Nina’s head. She may not have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting Sonny to forgive her, but Willow has proven she is more than understanding.
Willow may even be furious with Michael for not telling her. She definitely won’t like him resorting to blackmail.
The SEC storyline has dragged out for months and months, with more characters just being dragged into the mess. The truth must come out, including what Michael is doing, instead of blowing the whistle on Nina.
We would like to know what you think should happen. Should Nina confess before Michael gets a chance to rat her out to Sonny? If she comes clean, will Sonny and Willow forgive her, and will Michael have to pay for his blackmail tactics? See our comment section below!
