There’s always something happening in Port Charles that defies logic or imagination, but in this case ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are glad they found another way to potentially bring back Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth)’s memories.
It’s better than Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Eliott)’s idea of bonking him on the head again, but this attempt may not prove any better.
Of course, it relies on Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) being dumb enough to think he actually had to go swimming to find his siren.
The result was pretty predictable, but the result may not be.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lack of oxygen is key?
Since Eddie managed to get himself tangled in some underwater plants and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) is about to be his hero.
At least, we expect her to dive in to save him.
Since she doesn’t know where he is, it could take her a minute to figure out he’s below the surface, so maybe he gets free enough to thrash around for her to see him.
And ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers expect he’ll be running low on oxygen by the time she dives in and pulls him out.
We’d expect help to come from someone passing by, probably Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and he’ll help to revive Eddie and the whole event could cause his Quartermaine memories to return.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: He finds his siren
There’s also the possibility that his memory won’t return, or it’ll be a partial return as he’ll have a breakthrough on who the siren in his song is.
Since Olivia will be there, it could be her, but we think it’ll be Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) he’ll remember.
While Lois isn’t after him, this would be another complication for Olivia to deal with and contemplate Tracy’s demand to get him into therapy.
It just feels too easy for him to get his memory back here, but assuming Drew will be there to help him, if Ned comes out enough to say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) did it or something like that.
It’d get the process started in Drew’s head to connect the dots Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) tried to get started to avoid the guilt of destroying his family’s growing happiness.
Despite Drew wanting to move on, it was clear he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have no intention of that, but maybe Drew will beat them to the punch this time and do the dirty work for them?
