It looks like Port Charles’ unluckiest couple are going to get some help to meet in the middle, and ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
We were worried that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was being written off the show for maternity leave or even permanently, but it looks like it’s not going to be anything so drastic.
At least, not yet.
It’s going to take some convincing for her and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to see what’s right in front of them, but then that’s what friends like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are for.
From the way the daily spoilers look, they’re going to team up to try to get Cody and Sasha on the same page and it should be pretty interesting to see how successful they’ll be since both have their minds made up.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Some tough love
Cody has all but given up and chalked his failure up to himself being the biggest idiot around, and ‘General Hospital’ totally get that. We’ve been there. In fact, we all have at some point.
So, Sam’s going to try her hand at coaxing his head out of his posterior.
We think she’ll try to get him to see that he’s so miserable because he always walks away, and she may be the right person to get him to take another chance and tell Sasha how he feels.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Laying it all out
While Sam’s trying to work her magic, Dante will try his hand in convincing Sasha to stay in Port Charles.
We’re curious how he’ll approach her, but he’s smart and kind so we have no doubt he’ll be able to talk to Sasha in a way that she’ll understand what he means while not feeling threatened by it.
This will be another great performance by the actress as she’ll feel like she did something to hurt Cody and express that.
It’ll give Dante a chance to explain it’s about what she’s about to do, and that could be the game changer. While we fully understand why she wants to leave Port Charles, we also think she won’t want to leave Cody behind without being honest with him.
Now whether or not Dante will be able to convince her to at least see Cody again is another matter, but it would be pretty cool if she and Cody headed off for a while to get to know each other and explore Austin.
Or she may promise to come back to him once she’s figured everything else out. Either way, this is going to be a fun close to the storyline.
