‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are looking forward to some family dynamics being tested as Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is going to be in the middle of a fun custody battle of sorts between her mom and grandmother.
While it may not seem like it, the battle between Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) feels like it’s for Brook Lynn’s soul.
Lois wants her happy and free to live the life she wants while Tracy is trying to make her into another her, and in doing so has seen to it that Brook Lynn has lost every friend she had and the alienation has only just begun.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Trimming the fat
In Tracy’s mind, Brook Lynn shedding Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) are good things because they held her back.
Tracy knows friends can hold someone back from being ruthless, and by having Brook Lynn help her Tracy is ensuring that she’s trimming the fat, so to speak.
If course, Brook Lynn won’t see it like that and that kind of thinking is part of the reason she’s so angry with Tracy.
‘General Hospital’ think Brook Lynn won’t want Deception when Tracy hands it to her, and if she does take it, she’ll want to give it back to her friends to make up for all the trouble she caused.
But what if Tracy’s right and she accepts Deception and doesn’t give it up?

This is where Lois will come into play, but the fact she’s going to be so upset at Tracy will have Brook Lynn wondering what’s going on.
We think Lois will be the one to tell her what Tracy is planning to do, and she’ll also make sure to tell her that she doesn’t have to accept Deception. She’s starting out as a manager and is living her dream.
But Brook Lynn is a Quartermaine, and there’s every chance that Lois’ words will be heard, but they’ll be compartmentalized as Brook Lynn sees an opportunity.
To be fair, she may now intend to be a corporate raider like Tracy, but with Deception as her fallback, she’ll be able to finance her managing career and help Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) even more.
But Blaze doesn’t want to be beholden to anyone, and if she thinks Brook Lynn was in on Tracy’s plan to begin with that could sour their relationship and force Brook Lynn into keeping the company.
