‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has had enough of playing second fiddle to his brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in regard to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). When Nick is in a relationship, he is all in.
He can’t be in a relationship where that isn’t reciprocated, so he calls it quits. When will Adam swoop in?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Kiss
While Nick was traveling for his work with Kirsten Incorporated, Adam had dinner with Sally. Adam was celebrating how he turned over a new leaf and is trying to be a better man. Sally was celebrating her new business. They shared a bottle of champagne.
Adam asked Sally if he could walk her to the door of her room in the Athletic Club. She agreed but then Adam kissed her. He said that it was a mistake but then he also admitted that he still has feelings for her.
For once, she has felt quite conflicted about this because this “new and improved” Adam is really attractive to her. When he is not being a jerk, intent on destroying others, Adam is the kind of man she craves.
He just isn’t stable. Nick has been stable and safe and that is what she has loved about him. When Adam exudes chaos, Nick exudes peace and calm. Sally needed that.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Listening to His Heart
Nick knows that while he loves Sally, her feelings are torn. She is still nursing a connection with Adam, even if she says she isn’t. Her past with Adam is an obstacle to her future with Nick.
He can see this clearly, but she cannot. She thinks it is no big deal, but Nick can’t be in a relationship with someone who has divided affections.
Nick tells her it is over, and he leaves. She tries to contact him while he is having a drink at Society, but he won’t answer the phone. He is not going to get sucked into this relationship again unless she knows for sure what she wants. He knows that she is not there yet.
When Adam finds out, how fast will he make it over to Sally? Is she going to give him a second chance?
